Tone / technique

Seems to use finger-style exclusively. The P-bass growl cuts pretty well in the mix (e.g. check out Super Session).

A true master of walking lines. On Super Session he seems to rely mostly on the chord tones, in a very typical blues fashion. However, rhythmically the lines are quite intriguing for the time, even a little funky.
